Congratulations to the World Champions of 2024!
Razgatlioglu wraps up 2024 as Champion with a P1 for Race 2 at Jerez, capping BMW’S dream weekend with both Toprak and van der Mark on the final podium of the year!
Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) claimed the 2024 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto with a P2 finish in Race 1, behind Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati). In Race 2, the roles were reversed as Razgatlioglu withstood Bulega’s pressure for victory as a perfect way to cap off an incredible year.
Bulega had a veryy impressive rookie WorldSBK year finishing second infront of legend team mate Alvaro Bautista.
In a competitive end to the WorldSSP Championship, Adrian Huertas (Aruba.it Racing WorldSSP Team) secured his first WorldSSP title, and second World Championship crown, as he became the first rider to win the WorldSSP and WorldSSP300 titles.
A great result also for Aldi Mahendra (Team BrCorse), who secured the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto on Sunday afternoon, becoming Indonesia’s first World Champion with sixth place in Race 2. The Indonesian ensured he was in the lead group throughout the 11-lap race, managing to achieve a solid sixth place result at the lightweight class season finale.
In the Inaugural WorldWCR Championship season, Ana Carrasco (Evan Bros Racing Yamaha Team) is a two-time World Champion following her success in the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship. The #22 added that title to her 2018 WorldSSP300 Championship to make history in motorcycle racing. Third place in Race 2 at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto was enough to give Carrasco the inaugural Championship on a historic day at the Prometeon Spanish Round.
